Pilates
Pilates is a system of exercises created by Joseph Pilates that combines elements of calisthenics, ballet, and yoga, performed in a smooth, controlled rhythm. The focus is on breathing, proper alignment of the spine and pelvis, and the link between movement and attention. Each movement is done slowly and mindfully, with an emphasis on quality, using props such as a ball, ring, resistance band, weights, dumbbells, and more. That balance between body and mind builds strength, stability, and concentration at the same time. Regular practice develops a strong core, better posture, and lighter, sustainable movement in everyday life.
